Since 2005, the Internationale Grundschule – Primary School has been the first and only school in Potsdam to offer bilingual education.

 

In view of the high attractiveness and the great success of the English-language offer, the school is in great demand. Parents can opt for a German or English speaking class. The concept is based on the reform pedagogical principles of Montessori pedagogy, the framework curriculum of the state of Brandenburg and our bilingual curriculum.

 

The focus is on the continuous improvement of language skills and the development of a basic understanding of mathematical and scientific relationships.

 

The international primary school lays the foundation for a successful start in secondary school. It's not just about getting used to the new school challenges, but also about becoming part of a new social community and feeling completely comfortable doing so.
